It was a beautiful morning for a big check delivery! We recently had the opportunity to walk over to the offices of our friends at A Place to Start, located just a few feet down the road from our Operations Center in Kennebunk. For over 10 years, A Place to Start has provided hope, help and guidance to family caregivers and their loved ones living with Alzheimer’s – all at no cost to those seeking assistance. Our recent grant, awarded through our Huntington Common Charitable F und, will allow them to add a cognitive assessment at the point of intake for the individuals and families they serve. This will play a critical role in early identification of cognitive changes and facilitating timely referrals for comprehensive diagnostic evaluation.
