Christina Chadbourne helps her customers in any way she can—whether it’s related to their bank account or not. She relocated to Maine from Tennessee one summer on a lark, looking for a summer job, and never thought she’d find a community for herself in this part of the country. But she loved it and never left. “The communities are small, and everyone knows each other. I love that familial feeling.” Christina feels that way at her job, too. She loves being able to interact with people and build meaningful relationships with customers and employees. There’s one story she especially loves to tell: the time she helped a customer through a months-long process settling an estate overseas. It’s not about the hard work and the long process. It’s the fact that they’re still in touch today that matters most to her.
When Christina’s not at work, you can find her at the lake, relaxing on a boat, jet skiing, or wakeboarding. She also volunteers at the American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Cure and the Junior Achievement program.
I love that we are very involved with our communities, and many customers view us as a friend, not just their banker.
