KENNEBUNK, MAINE – Kennebunk Savings is pleased to announce the election of new members to its Board of Directors – Charles Wu and Thomas Allen.

Wu, an Executive Fellow at the Harvard Business School, recently retired as the Managing Director and founding partner of BayNorth Capital, a private real estate equity firm in Boston. “Joining the Board of Kennebunk Savings gives me the opportunity to become more directly involved with the businesses, customers, and communities the Bank serves. I look forward to working with such a committed and talented group of employees and Board members,” Wu said.

Allen is the owner of the Kittery Point Yacht Yard, which he founded just over 17 years ago with the purchase of the former Dion’s Yacht Yard in Kittery and the former Patten’s Yacht Yard in Eliot.  He has been a Corporator at Kennebunk Savings since 2012. “In my prior career I spent 18 years in the financial sector working for big banks,” Allen said. “My exposure to Community Banking was very limited. When I changed careers and established a local business the difference became very clear. Kennebunk Savings makes every effort to understand and support local business. It is an institution whose culture embraces supporting and giving back to its local community on many levels. I’m excited to be a part of that.”
