We are seeing an increase in fraud attempts via text messages from fraudsters posing as legitimate businesses, trying to gain access to personal information.

Kennebunk Savings will text customers when enrolling them in certain services such as Mobile Banking and account activity alerts. In some instances, a one-time pass code will be sent to a customer who initiated a call to our Customer Care Team or local branch employee for support. Kennebunk Savings will not send unsolicited text messages. The bottom line is, if you weren’t expecting the text, do not reply or click on any links as it’s likely a scam.  When in doubt, call our Customer Care Team at (800) 339-6573.
