Sherrelle Riquinha has had a varied career — from working construction to the U.S. Army to retail. Recruited to the world of banking in 2017, she’s found it to be a great fit. “I love making someone’s day better,” she says. “There are so many ways to lift a little of the day-to-day burden.” Living by a mantra of “caffeine and confidence,” she appreciates how employee- and community-focused Kennebunk Savings is. “I really appreciate working for a company that truly believes in a work/life balance and fosters my personal community engagement,” she says. She also makes getting to know her customers a major priority. “I have gotten to know many of their pets by name,” she says. “Pets are my weakness. But I love becoming the go-to person for the humans they belong to — the person who can find them an answer to their questions.”
