Kennebunk Savings is pleased to announce the promotion of Nathan Cadorette to Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, recognizing his outstanding leadership, financial expertise, and significant contributions to the bank’s strategic growth and financial strength.

Cadorette joined Kennebunk Savings in 2018 as Senior Financial Analyst and Budget Manager and has steadily advanced through leadership positions of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as First Vice President and Corporate Controller. He served on the bank’s Management Committee and led all finance-related functions across the organization. He worked closely with the CFO and executive leadership team on financial strategy, budgeting and planning, performance management, data analytics, and business insights.

In his new role as CFO, Cadorette will be responsible for guiding the bank’s financial strategy, maintaining a strong balance sheet, overseeing treasury operations, and providing financial leadership to support Kennebunk Savings’ continued growth and long-term success.

“Nate has distinguished himself as a strategic thinker, trusted advisor, and collaborative leader whose financial expertise has been instrumental in helping Kennebunk Savings achieve its goals,” said Lex Meagher, President and CEO of Kennebunk Savings. “His deep understanding of our organization, commitment to operational excellence, and passion for community banking make him exceptionally well-suited for this role. We are excited to welcome him to the executive leadership team as our CFO and Treasurer.”

Prior to joining Kennebunk Savings, Cadorette spent more than six years with Maine Employers’ Mutual Insurance Company (MEMIC), where he held positions of increasing responsibility in corporate finance, including senior financial accountant. During that time, he gained extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, audit management, general ledger accounting, and regulatory compliance.

A graduate of the University of Southern Maine, Cadorette earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a concentration in accounting. He is also a graduate of Kennebunk Savings’ Leadership Academy, where he was selected for the inaugural class of the bank’s executive development program. In addition, he completed the Leadership & Management Certificate Program through the University of New Hampshire.

Cadorette said he has always been drawn to community banking because of the meaningful role it plays in supporting local families, businesses, and nonprofits.

“What drives me most is the opportunity to make a positive impact,” he said. “I’m deeply committed to ensuring that the decisions we make are thoughtful, responsible, and grounded in what is best for our customers, employees, and community partners. That sense of responsibility motivates me every day.”

Born and raised in Maine and an active member of the community, Cadorette serves on the United Way of Southern Maine Finance Committee and Board of Directors and is a member of the Maine Bankers Association Financial Management Committee. He also serves as a speaker and educator for the Northern New England School of Banking, where he teaches bank financial statement analysis.

Cadorette credits Kennebunk Savings’ culture as one of the reasons he has built his career with the organization.

“People—it’s always about the people here,” Cadorette said. “Kennebunk Savings has a strong culture rooted in integrity, collaboration, and community. There is a shared commitment across the organization to do what is right and to support long-term relationships with our customers. We are here to help one another.”
