Steve Oertel

Steve Oertel is no stranger to banking, he’s been in the business for over 30 years! He started as a teller and held various positions before landing in Commercial Lending. He now serves as Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager where he helps small and large businesses get the funds they need to thrive and grow.

“I love supporting customers that help improve the community,” said Steve. “For example, we financed a workforce housing project and helped a local landlord make improvements to several apartments creating much needed quality, affordable housing in the market area.”

Steve enjoys spending time with his family outdoors. He’s also passionate about volunteering. His favorite nonprofit is the Sanford Backpack Program which sends children home from school on the weekend with a backpack full of nutritious and easy-to-prepare food.
