The 1871 Group is On the Move

Exciting times are ahead for our Portsmouth locations. In July, The 1871 Group will move from its current location at 3 Pleasant Street ‘all the way’ across the street to a temporary home at 10 Pleasant Street. Google clocks this as a 1-minute walk from one location to another. Our last day at our current location will be Tuesday, July 7^th, and we’ll be ready for action in our new, temporary space on Monday, July 13^th.  Although we will physically not be at our office from July 7th through July 10th, we will be working and available for any customer needs via phone and email.

So, why is this temporary? Together, The 1871 Group and our Portsmouth branch (currently on 111 Maplewood Avenue) will move into a new, location at 134 Pleasant Street in late 2027. This new location will be a modern financial hub for Kennebunk Savings in the center of Portsmouth that boasts:

• A convenient, well-known downtown Portsmouth location
• Greater visibility and a true flagship presence in New Hampshire
• A modern building and interior that reflects the future of banking
• Ample parking and drive-up capabilities
• Improved operational space and employee experience
• Room to grow as we continue to expand

These moves are an important step to ensure we can continue delivering exceptional experiences for our valued customers (like you!) in this market.
