Setting Alerts (Online Banking and Mobile App)
You can set alerts on your bank account to be notified about spending, deposits, or even when your CD account has reached maturity.
Log in to your online banking account on your desktop computer or on the Kennebunk savings app.
Desktop: Select Preferences from the top menu, then select Manage Alerts from the drop down menu.
Mobile: Tap the three dots at the bottom of the screen, then tap, Preferences, then tap Manage Alerts.
The first selection on this menu is for alerts regarding your bank accounts. Please note that alerts must be set for each indivdual account, which means they can be customized for your checking account, savings accounts, and other special accounts like home equity lines of credit.
For each transaction category like automatic deposits, you can then choose either an email alert or a push alert to your device. (Please note that we will need a valid email address or phone number on file in order for you to receive these alerts.)
You can also set alerts for account access. Select Authentication from the menu on the left. This will alert you anytime anyone logs into your online banking account. Even if you are the only person who accesses this account, setting this alert can be a helpful security measure.
Some alerts are permanently set to on for every account at Kennebunk Savings, including confirmations of mobile deposit and updates related to transfers.
If you set savings goals using our banking platform, you can choose to be notified if you’re falling behind in your goal or when you’ve reached your savings goal!
