Introducing a New Person to Person Payment Platform
We’re upgrading our technology to bring you a better, more flexible way to send and receive money—and we want to make sure you’re ready!
Key Dates to Know:
- October 6, 2025: Zelle® will no longer be available through Kennebunk Savings, and no new payments can be scheduled.
- Any payments scheduled before October 6, 2025, for the week of October 6–10 2025, will still be processed.
- Any payments already scheduled with a payment date after October 10, 2025, will not be processed.
- October 14, 2025: Our new person to person payment platform, Pay a Friend, launches!
What You Need to Do:
- Re-establish any recurring payments using Pay a Friend once it launches.
- Be aware that your Zelle® payment history and payee details will not carry over, so save any records you may need.
- Get excited—Pay a Friend lets you send money to anyone, not just users of the same app!
