Kennebunk Savings is proud to announce that Bradford C. Paige, President and CEO, has been elected to the American Bankers Association’s (ABA) Board of Directors.

“It’s a great honor to be nominated to serve on the board of the ABA and represent the Maine banking industry at a national level. Our nation’s banks play an important role in steering the U.S. economy forward with the industry’s two million jobs, $13 trillion in deposits, and $10 trillion in loans. At the heart of those numbers, Maine banks employ 8,600 people, hold $27.9 billion in insured deposits and serve nearly two million individuals, families and business owners in our communities each day.”

Rob Nichols, ABA President and CEO said, “As a former chairman of the Maine Bankers Association and the ABA’s Mutual Institutions Council, Brad has faithfully represented community banks like his by forcefully advocating on their behalf. He has shown tremendous dedication to our industry, and his wealth of banking knowledge and experience will allow him to provide a vital perspective to the ABA’s board.”

At the ABA’s annual convention in New York City, Paige and nine other bankers from across the country were elected as new board members. Paige will serve a three year term and join 21 other bankers who will also serve terms on the ABA’s board.
