Q&A

What does a good day at work look like to you?

Probably one where I don’t have an entire day of meetings so I actually have time to tackle some of the projects that I have to work on.

What do you like best about the culture at Kennebunk Savings?

The people. It’s a great group of people to work with. Everybody is really energetic and involved.

Which one of our brand values (Integrity, Empathy, Proactive, Trust) resonates most strongly for you?

Integrity. Not a shock coming from the risk department, because that is the key to pretty much everything we do. We have to have integrity. Customers have to trust us. We have to please a lot of different audiences, including auditors, and so integrity is huge.

What is an important lesson that you have learned in your career?

I am a hands-on doer and I like to see results. I will dig in. One thing I have had to learn is that I can’t control everything. What we do is a team effort. I tend to want to take control.

What words or phrases do you most overuse?

You’d have to ask the people I work with. I am sure they’d be able to answer immediately off the top of their heads.

What do you love about your community?

It’s a really family-oriented and safe place to be.
