Kennebunk Savings Bank is proud to be a
founding member of The Maine Anti-Phishing Coalition (MEAPC).
In response to the growing threat and the ever-increasing occurrence of information theft,

Maine financial institutions have joined forces to form the Maine Anti-Phishing Coalition (MEAPC) and launched
nophishing.org – an educational website for consumers.
 “Banking and shopping online are still very secure,” said Sari Greene, Director of MEAPC, “but the problem of fraud is
growing and our mission is to ensure everyone knows how to recognize information theft schemes and scams.”
Central to the public awareness and education effort is a month-long media campaign aimed at alerting consumers about
the problem of information theft and directing them to the
nophishing.org website to learn how they can better protect
themselves.
