KENNEBUNK, MAINE - Kennebunk Savings President and CEO, Ken Reed spent a recent day driving his ‘Cookie Cruiser’ to all the bank’s 13 branches to highlight this year’s support for the annual United Way campaign. Joining in the send off were President and CEO of the United Way of York County, Kathryn Davis, Resource Development Director, Deb Nelson, along with co-chair Kristen Johnson and Loaned Executive, Cindy Johnson. Looking to add a little fun to this year’s United Way Campaign Kickoff, the Kennebunk Savings team headed out to deliver treats of chocolate chip cookies to each employee. “We thought it would be fun for people to be able to really see us coming this year”, said Reed, of his PT ‘Cookie Cruiser’ with flags flying.
The official United Way kick off began on September 7th in Sanford when they announced this year’s fundraising goal, introduced the latest group of Loaned Executives and brought local York County companies together in support of the UW’s fundraising efforts.
