KENNEBUNK, MAINE – Kennebunk Savings Bank recently announced that David Moravick has joined its subsidiary Morris Insurance Services as Vice President. Moravick’s focus will be in commercial insurance and he will assume primary responsibility for new business development in Northern York County and the Kennebunks.
While Moravick began his banking career with Kennebunk Savings, he was most recently a Senior Vice President and Senior Lender for Rivergreen Bank. Prior to his banking experience, Moravick was a Commercial Account Executive at Paquin & Carroll Insurance of Biddeford.
“David’s extensive experience in both the banking and insurance fields make him a perfect fit for our organization,” commented Steve Morris, EVP of the Bank and President of Morris Insurance. “We are delighted to have someone of David’s personal and professional reputation as a member of our financial services team. Moravick is an active member of the community and his participation mirrors Kennebunk Savings commitment to community service. He serves as treasurer for The Brick Store Museum in Kennebunk, as well as for the McArthur Library Association. He is a member of the Vestry at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Saco and was appointed by the Town of Kennebunk to serve as vice president for the Kennebunk Development Corp. He is a past president and current member of the Kennebunk Rotary Club and in 2006 received the prestigious “Joel W. Stevens” Award for community involvement by the Kennebunk-Kennebunkport Chamber of Commerce.
Moravick received a business degree from St Joseph’s College in Windham, and lives in Biddeford.
