KENNEBUNK, MAINE – Kennebunk Savings Bank recently drew the name of the winner for the Hannaford Store Shopping Spree contest. Originally intended to bring back a three minute race through the grocery store, this lucky winner was offered a less athletic prize. According to Mr. Hollis Perry, “6:30 in the morning is rather early to be running around a grocery store, especially at my age!” After speaking with Mr. Perry, all involved, including Karyn Scharf Morin, VP and Manager of the Kennebunk Savings York Financial Center decided that the bank would instead issue a $1,000 Hannaford gift certificate to Mr. Perry who was very excited at his good fortune.
The “Free Bee Shopping Spree” Contest was promoted at the York Hannaford and the Kennebunk Savings Bank York Financial Center in both April and May. Mr. and Mrs. Perry appeared together with Kennebunk Savings Bank Officials to collect the prize in early June at the York Financial Center at 2 Hannaford Drive in York. (see attached photo)
