KENNEBUNK, MAINE – The excitement was palpable as the winner of the 2007 Toyota Yaris opened the door to her new car. Alice Doherty of Biddeford was proclaimed the winner out of over one thousand entries for the Biddeford grand opening give-away. “I never win anything, and this was just so exciting,” Alice said. According to Helene Plourde, Vice President and Manager, this was the biggest giveaway ever for Kennebunk Savings Bank. “It has been a fun first month here, we have been so busy giving away prizes and opening accounts, but the car really got people talking.” Plourde continued, “We’ve also given away five flat screen HDTV’s and twenty-five I-Pods, along with contributions to five great nonprofit organizations in Biddeford. We’re celebrating everything ‘five’!”
Kennebunk Savings worked with Prime Toyota of Saco to offer the prize vehicle and to arrange for its unique display (see attached photos). Ken Reed, President and CEO of Kennebunk Savings was enthusiastic about the warm welcome the city has given the Bank, “When we found this great location we just knew that Biddeford would be a good market for our brand of innovative products and award winning customer service. And that has certainly been the case. We’ve also had some fun giving away some great prizes.” The Kennebunk Savings Biddeford Office opened on March 27th at the 5 Points Shopping Center on Route 111.
