Kennebunk Savings Announces New Biddeford Office Manager

KENNEBUNK, MAINE – Kennebunk Savings Bank has announced that Helene C. (Henri) Plourde of Scarborough is Vice President and Manager of the newly opened Biddeford 5 Points Shopping Center Office. A Saco native and a graduate of Thornton Academy, Plourde has been with Kennebunk Savings for the past eight years in management roles, including as a Small Business Officer at the Kennebunk Financial Center and most recently as Vice President and Manager in the Wells Office. She will put to use her nearly thirty years of banking experience – much of it in the Biddeford Saco area – as she takes on the management of the Biddeford office.



A hard-working volunteer as well as experienced banker, Plourde is currently involved with Camp Susan Curtis, HomeHealth Visiting Nurses of Southern Maine, Friends of Scouting (Maine Boy Scouts), and a member of the Biddeford Saco Rotary Club, where she was a past president. Plourde is also a Corporator of Southern Maine Medical Center (SMMC) and Sweetser Services and a member of the Scarborough 350th committee. “I am really excited about this opportunity to head up Kennebunk Savings Bank’s expansion into Biddeford-Saco. Many of our customers have long been asking when we’d move into the area and now we’ll be able to handle more of their financial needs. With insurance and financial services available in addition to banking, we are looking forward to bringing our brand of customer service to residents and businesses alike.” Plourde lives in Scarborough and enjoys spending time at a second residence at Hills Beach, Biddeford. The new Biddeford office is located at the 5 Points Shopping Center on Alfred Street (Route 111).
