Kennebunk Savings Bank Promotes Tanguay to Commercial Loan Officer



KENNEBUNK, MAINE – John Tanguay has been named to a new position as Commercial Loan Officer for the Greater Sanford area. Tanguay, who has been at the bank since 2001, both in marketing and in commercial lending, was most recently a Commercial Portfolio Manager at the Kennebunk Savings Bank’s York Financial Center. A Sanford High School and University of Southern Maine graduate with a B.S. in Business Administration, Tanguay looks forward to working in his hometown of Sanford, especially considering the economic development and recent growth in commercial activity in Sanford-Springvale and adjacent towns. In commenting on the promotion, Francine Cram, Sanford Lending Team Leader and Vice President, noted “We are delighted to be welcoming John back to his community roots. John has been part of the commercial lending team of Kennebunk Savings for three years now and in that time, he has really honed his lending and management skills. We look forward to introducing John to our existing clients and John is looking forward to helping Sanford businesses prosper!”

Before his return to Maine in 2001, Tanguay was involved as a researcher for the American Association of Retired People (AARP) in Washington, D.C. Tanguay, his wife and three young daughters live in Sanford.
