Kennebunk Savings Bank announced plans today to open a new banking office in Biddeford in early 2007. This will be the 13th location for the bank in York County and its first north of Kennebunk. The office is a free-standing building at the recently renovated Five Points Shopping Center and will be located in one of Maine's fastest-growing commercial areas along Route 111 in Biddeford. It will be especially convenient to Route 1, the Maine Turnpike entrance and to communities both east and west of the turnpike. Extensive remodeling, both of the exterior and interior, will begin immediately to create an inviting environment for retail and commercial customers. The exterior renovations will involve the distinctive shingle-style appearance that has defined many of the bank’s existing branches and Financial Centers.
