Kennebunk Savings Bank announced today that its offices will collect
donations for the American Red Cross - to aid disaster relief efforts
in the Gulf region. Individuals wishing to contribute to this effort
can stop by any of Kennebunk Savings’ eleven locations throughout York
County. Offices are located in Kennebunk, Kennebunk Lower Village,
Wells, Ogunquit, York, Kittery, Eliot, Berwick, North Berwick, and
Sanford.
“Like everyone, we at Kennebunk Savings were stunned by the images of
destruction we saw on television,” said Joel Stevens, President of
Kennebunk Savings Bank. “We will accept donations from our customers
and the community as our way of helping all those affected by
Hurricane Katrina.”
Contributions will be accepted at all Kennebunk Savings Bank locations
until Friday, September 30th. At that time all donations will be
forward to the southern Maine chapter of the American Red Cross.
Individuals are asked to make checks payable to The American Red
Cross.
In addition, Kennebunk Savings Bank will be matching all contributions
from its employees to the Hurricane Katrina relief effort.
