Banking, Financial Planning and Investments to be offered at 2nd York
Facility
Kennebunk Savings Bank is pleased to announce the groundbreaking
ceremony of its second York office and its newest facility in York,
Maine on Tuesday, May 17th at 10:00am. This new project, The Kennebunk
Savings Bank Financial Center at York, will be located at 5 Hannaford
Drive just off Route 1 in front of Hannaford Supermarket. When
completed in the fall, the office will feature a full line of
financial services all under one roof – banking, insurance and
investments. This concept was first introduced at the Kennebunk
location and has proved to be very popular. The Financial Center is
the 2nd office in York; the existing office at 16 Woodbridge Road will
remain open and will continue to serve customers there.
The new building which will include Kennebunk Savings Bank, Morris
Insurance Services and Kennebunk Financial Services representatives,
has been designed by Lassel Architects of South Berwick, and offers a
distinctive second gateway to the town. With a shingle façade and
beach stone accents, it echoes the style that has become the signature
look of the towns of York, York Harbor and York Beach. HL Patten
Construction of Kittery is the general contractor.
Since opening its original office in York in 1969, Kennebunk Savings
Bank has been proud to have played a key role in the financial
well-being of individuals, families and small businesses. Plans are
for the Woodbridge Street Office in York to remain open and maintain
its current staffing levels. The new Kennebunk Savings Bank Financial
Center is expected to open in November 2005.
