SANFORD, Maine – Kennebunk Savings Bank has extended the office
hours of its Sanford branch, opening a half hour earlier from Monday
through Saturday. This makes the Kennebunk Savings Office the bank
with the longest hours in the area.
The office, located at 1314 Main Street (Rte. 109 in South Sanford
opposite Wal-Mart), will now be open at 8:30 a.m. every morning. The
lobby will be open until 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, until 5 p.m.
Thursday and Friday, and until noon on Saturdays. The drive through
will continue to open at 8 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and will stay
open until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 5:30 p.m. Thursday and
Friday and until noon on Saturdays.
To celebrate their extended hours, the Sanford office will be offering
“early bird” customers complimentary coffee and donuts every
morning and copies of the Sanford News Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
through mid- September. “We listened to our customers,” said
manager Susan Morgan. “They told us that they wanted to be able to
come in earlier to conduct business such as applying for loans or
opening accounts, not just make deposits or conduct teller
transactions. We have a lot of business customers and commuters who
are up and going early in the morning. Now we’re able to accommodate
them.”
The Sanford Office of Kennebunk Savings Bank opened in March of 1999.
In addition to Morgan, other staff members include: Nancy Wentworth,
assistant manager, Donald Sevigny, sales and service representative,
and tellers, Brittany Cloutier, Jessica Cole, Deborah Godin, Melissa
Lunetta, and Brian Perkins.
