Every year, we ask our customers to help decide where a portion of our Community Promise budget should go. If you are a Kennebunk Savings customer, it's easy to cast your vote. Simply watch for your ballot in the mail, then log online to vote or you can mail the ballot back or drop it off at your local branch. If you have questions about the program, just ask us. How your votes makes a difference

This year our customers will help decide which nonprofits will share the $80,000 we set aside for the Customer Ballot program. In 2011, the largest number of votes, nearly ten percent of them, went to the Animal Welfare Society, which received a check for $9,061. Overall, 43% of the funds went to organizations that provide for basic needs, such as food pantries and hospitals. Kennebunk Savings Officers hand delivered the checks to the top 125 nonprofits who received your votes.
