KENNEBUNK, MAINE – The Kennebunk Savings Bank Foundation’s Huntington Common Charitable Fund has contributed over $500,000 in grants to nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of seniors. The Foundation is once again seeking grant proposals and is most concerned in funding organizations that provide food, medical care, housing and fuel assistance, among other services to York County Seniors.

In the past the Huntington Common Charitable Fund has contributed to York County nonprofit organizations that benefit seniors and include York Hospital, Equest Therapeutic Riding Center, Southern Maine Agency on Aging for their Meals on Wheels and Money Minders Programs, York County Shelter Programs, Inc., York County Community Action Corporation, York County Food Rescue, and the York Library, among others. Organizations are encouraged to apply for funding from the Huntington Common Charitable Fund for Seniors of the Kennebunk Savings Bank Foundation by March 31.
