KENNEBUNK, MAINE – Kennebunk Savings officials announced that Maureen Flaherty has joined its staff as the bank’s Chief Marketing Officer. She will be responsible for overseeing the Marketing and Corporate Communications departments, developing new digital strategies, and guiding the organization through its strategic objectives.

Flaherty comes to Kennebunk Savings with significant experience as a branding and marketing executive. Her most recent roles include Senior Director of Multi-Channel Marketing at Banfield Pet Hospital, a division of Mars, Inc. in Portland, Oregon and also most recently she was a Senior Product Manager at IDEXX. Prior to these positions, Flaherty spent many years working as Agency Vice President for eROI, a digital marketing agency in Portland, Oregon and also as an account executive for FutureBrand in New York City.

A Kennebunk resident, Flaherty graduated from Penn State University, and has advised numerous nonprofits on their marketing programs.
